June 14: Day 2 - Russia vs. Saudi Arabia

Right before kickoff

Today was the opening match of the World Cup: Russia vs. Saudi Arabia. This was an amazing experience for all of us, as we were able to see both the game and the opening ceremonies.

The Opening Ceremony

Russia crushed Saudi Arabia 5-0, in a blow out that no one was expecting. The atmosphere of the stadium for each goal was great, and overall our first game experience was unlike anything that anyone was expecting.
